Cahir GAA Club would like to express sincere sympathy to Tadhg Howard and his family on the death of his father Henry Howard in Banteer last Thursday. May he rest in peace.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. 

The Annual General meeting of Cahir GAA Club will take place next Sunday 29th January at 3pm in Cahir House Hotel.

DRAW THE JOKER 

The Draw the Joker was held in The Punters Rest on Sunday night. The Jackpot was not won.  John Sheehan won €100.00, Tom, Kit & Molly Whelan & Alice Noonan won €50 each, Casey Meehan €30 and Mick O’Mahony €20. The jackpot is now €7,200 and the next draw is on Sunday January 29th in Cahir House Hotel. Thanks to everyone for your support.

JUVENILE NEWS 

Well done to the Cahir GAA boys in Transition Year in Colaiste Dun Iascaigh who completed a foundation coaching course and a Young Whistlers refereeing course. Thank you to the Tipperary GDAs David Byrne and Tom Fitzgerald for facilitating the visit to the Colaiste on Wednesday 18th January. It is great to see a link between school, club and county.

 The South U14 Football trials began on Saturday 7th January and concluded on Saturday 21st January.  Several Cahir boys participated in the trials.

The South U15 Football trials began on Sunday 15th January and concluded on Sunday 22nd January. There were two Cahir boys participating in these trials, along with a coach from Cahir.

The U13s and U15s will return to training this week on the all-weather pitch
