JUVENILE NEWS
U17B South Football Final
The U17s participated in the South Football Final yesterday, Sunday. The team had a good competitive first half, they all played to their usual high standard but unfortunately the match was not played out and we await a decision from the South Bord na Og.
The winter development programme continued on Tuesday 15th November in the hall at Colaiste Dun Iascaigh. The programme is being led by Diarmuid Leahy. Diarmuid is a gym instructor with Xtreme CSC gym in Duneske. The programme is being rolled out for boys born in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. The boys did a session of plyometrics on Tuesday night. Next Thursday will be the final session in the programme.
The U5 Nursery group had a finishing-up party on Saturday 19th November in O’Donnell’s Woodview Service Station to celebrate all their hard work during the season. The boys have shown an outstanding aptitude for learning and most importantly have made what will be lifelong friendships along the way. A special thank you to all the parents who show such dedication to their kids. We are also very grateful to Noel, Alan and Trish O’Donnell at Woodview Service Station for providing the location and food, it was much appreciated by the U5 families. Finally, to our little superstars, keep practicing and keep smiling. Best of luck to our graduates who will move on to u7 next year.
