Cahir Junior B hurlers played out an exciting draw with St Patricks on Friday night last in Duneske GAA field. Conditions were very wet but Cahir started very well with some nice points from play from Conor O’Brien and a goal by Conor Kelly. Cahir led all the way with the half time score Cahir 1–12, St Pats 2–6. Francie Delaney added four points from play while Eoin Donaghy converted seven points from frees. The team and scorers were as follows; Derek Davis, Dylan Walsh, James Walsh, Keelan Looby, Thomas Molan, Liam Meehan, Mark Casey, Nicholas Reidy. Daragh Howard, Patrick O’Donovan (0-1), Francie Delaney (0-4), Conor O’Brien (0-3), Conor Kelly (1-0), Eoin Donaghy (0-8), Callum McGrath. Subs Used: Conor McKenna, Benny Hickey, John Casey, Conor Kirwan, Gavin Berry. Cahir play their final game in the league section next Saturday evening against Ballybacon/Grange in Goatenbridge at 7pm.
Best of luck to Conor Kirwan who will take part in the Munster Puc Fada final on July 9th. It was postponed from last weekend due to bad weather.
DRAW THE JOKER
Draw the Joker was held in The Hill Bar on Sunday night last. Jackpot was not won, Paidi O’Connell won €100, JJ O’Sullivan & Anna Downey €50 each, Edel Cuffe €30 and Charlie Boland €20. We thank everyone for their support. Next week the jackpot is €8,200.00 and the Draw will be held in Morrisseys.
